Sheffield Hallam University invited us to Weston Park Musuem to see the exhibition for the Virtual Reality and Prosthetics.
EnJunior got the chance to have a hands on experience of the virtual reality that helps aid amputees in how to use prosthetics.
We also met Kevin who is an amputee who shared his experience of using prosethtics.

To really understand engineering at its best, we went to visit Lincoln Welding.
One of the UK's leading welding company, where we learnt the importance of welding on
how this helps with constructions such as bridges!
In the month of October we tested the wits of EnJunior members by bringing the challenge of building a spaghetti bridge.
Fantastic attempts from everyone! However there were a winning team!
Well Done Sam and Aman for winning the competition for strongest bridge!
To complete the topic of Sports, we visited St George's Stadium to understand what it took to build and
the sort of technology and engineering it has to help athletes. The stadium was magnificant and we were lucky
to visit the changing room where England players had been the week before.
In August we were lucky to have Peter Kay visit from the Football Association.
Peter talked to us about the importance of designing logos for football clubs and why technology was important in sports.
Peter joined us in understanding how reply action works and how it helps with making a sport better.
In the month of August we explored sports and prosthetics.
We had Midlands Amputee Association visit us with guest speaker Christine.
Christine came and spoke to EnJunior all about prosethetics and the importance it has for amputees.
This was great as we were able to explore biomedical engineering and see the impact of prosethetics.
